Default w/mo solo Ice Breaker farming! (w/ video)

Hi! This may have already been given or stated out here or on some other sites. anyway i just want to share my own personal strategy, tips, and route on how to farm the ice breaker using a warrior monk!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Equipments:

Armor: Full Gladiator's (recommended) or a hybrid of Gladiator's and platemail/dreadnought's/dragon's!

Weapons:
i use a victo's battle axe and as for the shiled; i use grognar's defender (dmg -2 stance, health+45 stance) when running and a collector's carapace shield (health+60 when hexed, dmg-3 hexed) when facing the grawls!
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Attributes:
Healing Prayers 8
Strenght 12
Axe Mastery 9
Tactics 12

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Skills

Vigorous Spirit
Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's Defense
Gladiator's Defense(E)
Dolyak's Signet
Live Vicariously
Mending
Sprint

---------------------------------------------------------------------

For beginners i've included a video showing how to get to the location, and what route to take! here's the link:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=H9XWGFZT

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Tips and Advices:

1.) Avoid mobs that include the following bosses:

a.) Edibbo Pekpek (ele boss) - keeps you blinded, thus makin your attacks useless and you wont be able to gain health!

b.) Ipillo Wupwup (monk boss) - if he joins the fight, he'll keep healing the mob! skip this boss!

2.) The Following bosses are doable to go against with (but you dont kill them, just kill those mighty grawls, coz that's your main target):

Jono Yawpyawi (Warrior Boss), Salani Pippip (Ranger Boss), and Karobo Dimdim (Necro Boss)!

3.) Always have your stances on! When doing a chain, make sure, bonetti's defense, goes last!
- Dont use bonetti's defense when glad's defense is still active.
- When to cast vigorous spirit? cast it after everytime you cast gladiator's defense for best results!
- Dolyak's signet should always be on too, however when you're facing 1 or 2 enemies, there's no need to use it anymore, coz you have to sprint away after killing the mobs to get away from bosses and go to the next group!

4.) Ice breaker isn't your only profit here! here is a list of what you can get:
Rare Armors/Gear (runes), Gold (100+ each drop), and Salvageable materials!

Well that is all, here's the video footage of the farm! notice that during the starti skipped some frames due to it getting corrupted for some reason! anyways just take note of the compass, and try to look where the actual aggro takes place! Good luck! happy ice breaker farming!

Hey good job man.

It's actually a fun farm because you can slip up real bad depending on the boss if you're not paying attention. Kinda fun for that.

I used a previous build, and chopped through them easily, using the W/E build that was put up a while back (very inventive, though I altered it, credit to original poster).

For me, I noticed whenever I saw the Ice Breaker being held by a mob, it would drop. And other times, when there was no Ice Breaker visible, it never dropped. I tested that theory over 10 tries. It seemed to hold true. It may be totally coincidence though. But just a note about it at least.

Cheers!

It is true. Only Grawls carrying the IB will drop it. Hence you can scan the mob for one and quit if none are carrying it to save time

They sell for 10k each so if you farm them efficiently you can still make some decent moola.

I also found out, and tried today using Triple Chop {E}. That also went well. And this is a typical troll farming or vermin farm.

very good to pull agaisnt warriors in pvp, remember warriors no longer have damage reduction vs elemental damage and most still using glad armor only have 80 al vs this weapon

The Ice Breaker is not really worth all that much, because honestly, Cold Damage is kind of a bad thing in many situations. But aside from that, the other unique hammers tend to just outshine it.

The real reason the Ice Breaker is good though, is because it looks great! and it's huge!. I mean come on. Small hammers are boring. But that thing is just massive.

Put it on your Ranger Thumper and just look at the size. It's wonderful hehe.

I like the hammer, but again, Cold damage can be a problem in many areas of the game, where physical damage just would have worked better for you, or at least fire damage (pve anyways). Definitely not a PvP hammer.

You can't really make tons of cash selling them.
But you can make more than selling a lot of the old greens.

Cheers!

This build doesn't seem to work for me, Chilbailans removes all my enchantments, then degen+barbs with three warriors gets me. I am also unable to download the video for some unknown reasons. If someone could help i'd appreciate it.

Its always on the bridge behind the grawl complex. Take a right b4 u get to the main building. If you dont see it on one of the grawls on the bridge RE-ZONE.

Does any1 really not have the ice breaker, it goes for 10k.

Click on the link and once the page loads, try to check for overlay ads, on the upper right of the page. click on the x button to take it out. you'll see that there is a blank space for you to input 3 keys, copy it from the image on the left side of the blank space, then click on download.

About getting Chiblains on you, As much as possible never get near the grawl crones and Barbed Grawls. They'll cast chiblains on you! when you run past them, leave a certain distance so you wont trigger them to use chiblains on you!
